All neurodegenerative disorders are chronic progressive diseases in which cell death in different brain regions occurs leading to loss of cognitive, motor and autonomic functions. In the case of PP, our foci are Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis, two devastating disorders for which current therapy is inadequate.
